About Ride For A Cure: Ride for a Cure is a non-profit organization designed to raise funds for philanthropic causes. Managed by an annually elected Board of Directors, along with a bevy of enthusiastic and hard-working volunteers, RFAC's mission is to strengthen the local community by raising and holding funds for specific, charitable purposes.
Hosted by Gibson Ranch in Sunland, California, RFAC holds various equestrian events held throughout the year, all which culminate in an exciting day-long Grand Finale geared for horse lovers of all ages.
A majority of the proceeds from Ride for a Cure are donated to a chosen charity every year, and since 2007, the event has raised thousands of dollars to such organizations as the Michael J. Fox Association's Team Fox Challenge, the American Parkinson Disease Association, The Roy & Patricia Disney Family Cancer Center, City of Hope and ACT-Today.
